THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1968 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! THIS LP ALSO HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'WITHDRAWN' LABELS FOR THIS LP - WHICH WERE IMMEDIATELY STOPPED, WITHDRAWN AND CHANGED!!!! THE TRACK 'LET THERE BE MORE LIGHT' IS INCORRECTLY SPELT 'LET THERE ME MORE LIGHT', AND ALL TRACKS WERE INCORRECTLY CREDITED TO 'MAGDALENE MUSIC' - WHICH WAS WRONG AND IMMEDIATELY CHANGED!!!! No is SX 6258 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue/Black Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED THAT MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, NO nasty 'tick' marks AT ALL, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, only 3 or 4 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! And because this record CLEARLY hasn't been played much AT ALL - the sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press EMI Advertising 'Patents Applied For' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' MONO Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO rips, NO tears, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO splits, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, VERY shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! There is also a possible MEGA faint price trace in the top right corner on the cover BACK - though even when I put my eyes REALLY close to the cover here, it is unreadable and almost INVISIBLE, as this is the darkest part of the cover back!!!! Even the rest of unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and barely ANY rubbing AT ALL!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS QUITE SIMPLY ONE OF THE RAREST PINK FLOYD LPs EVER TO BE OFFERED FOR SALE - EVER!!!! IT IS QUITE LITERALLY THE 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND YOU CANNOT GET EARLIER OR RARER THAN THIS!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
