EASY HERE / RUNNIN' DOWN ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by JUG SESSION GROUP. Original Dutch pressing on the POLYDOR label (2050 050), from 1970. Killer psychedelic rock by an obscure group from Noord-Brabant, Holland. This was their only single before disbanding. Both sides are superb, especially the RUNNIN' DOWN theme with B-boy loop / funky hip hop drum break intro. Really infectious rock beats / pumping keyboard vamps / stoned vocals and heavy guitar shreds a la the funkiest bluesrock of Rory Gallagher & Taste / Jimi Hendrix / early Steppenwolf etc. The group is also backed by a funky jazz horn section too. Great for DJs. Top biker exploitation film style club sounds from the Amsterdam underground. Our single comes with the original music publisher's letter from Chappell & Co Holland to their Italian offices in Milan. The letter includes photo copies of newspaper reviews from the time of the single's initial release. Rare 45!!!
