Vinyl: Thad Jones on Blue Note 1546 Test Pressing

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P” pressing of Thad Jones “The Magnificent” on the Plastylite labels of Blue Note BLP 1546. The rare flat rim test pressing is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The labels have the unusual feature of being stamped on both sides with the Blue Note address. No art cover, as issued. Personnel include Gigi Gryce, Tommy Flanagan, Percy Heath, and Max Roach.
