Note: Insanely rare L.A. modern soul from the same group that did "Let Me Do It." Incredible, uplifting indie soul anthem! And don't believe the 1988 copyright date on this 45, I'd be shocked if this wasn't actually recorded in the early 80s, same time as their other release. It's actually kind of bizarre they would decide to release this in '88, since it sounds nothing like what was going on in music at the time. Which probably explains why this 45 must have sank like a stone and is nearly impossible to find now. A small handful of 12 inches of this song have turned up in recent years (usually listed as King Cole) but as far as I can tell this is the first time a copy of the 45 has hit the auction block. The only copy I'll probably ever find, so don't let this one get by! Check my other auctions this week for hundreds of 45s, nearly all with soundclips and a low start price (I never use reserves).
