This is an ORIGINAL RARE Elvis Presley SUN record. "SUN 215 -MILKCOW BLUES BOOGIE/ You're a Heartbreaker" This rates a Very Good (VG 5). This has THREE (3) MEMPHIS PRODUCTION PRESS MARKS on both sides and the identification numbers are engraved in the vinyl trail-off, they are: U-140-45-72 / U-141-45-72. Recorded on December, 1954, Released on January 1955 this was Elvis Presley's THIRD distribution record. Recorded with Scotty Moore on guitar and Bill Black on bass. Record comes in a plain sleeve, as originally produced.
Record plays on BOTH sides all the way through with light background noise and he infamous SUN hiss. NO warp, record is nice and flat! Vinyl still retains a great glossy shine. There is one faint scratch on the MILKCOW BLUES BOOGIE side but does not affect the sound quality!
This Belonged to my grandmother since she was a teenager and has written her name "Hazel" on both sides lightly and there is some faint scribble on one side but this record is in GREAT condition for being 63 years old! The only reason I am auctioning this is to pay for my grandmothers funeral arrangements as she does not have burial insurance.
