STEREOLAB - 'Jenny Ondioline' 10" MULTI COLOURED VINYL PRESSING DUOPHONIC
Hi and thanks for looking at my auction.
JENNY ONDIOLINE 10" EP BY STEREOLAB in MULTI-COLOURED VINYL.

Collectors of the band will know that there were only a handful of these made at the plant at the time of release. Some sources such as their own 'lab report' suggest only two or three were pressed along with the main pressing making it, even by their standards, one of their most rare and collectible of their releases!

It is in great condition and has been hardly played. The sleeve is the standard issue and it is not signed as the clear ones were.

I have never seen another one; curiosity made me 'google' it and I cannot even see another image of one!

THIS WILL SELL NO RESERVE - THE START PRICE IS LOW FOR SUCH A RARE ITEM

I am a genuine seller and describe my items as fairly and accurately as I can.

Should you have any questions at all please ask before bidding and I will get back to you as soon as I can

Finally, please only bid if you are willing to purchase.

Good luck!

FURTHER TO SEVERAL MESSAGES AND INTEREST I CAN CONFIRM THERE IS NO 'BUY IT NOW' !!!!!!!!!

I HAVE PLAYED THE DISC TONIGHT AND WOULD GRADE IT VG/EX IN ACCORDANCE WITH RECORD COLLECTOR, TO BE OBJECTIVE.
IE LIGHT STATIC AND THE VERY OCCASIONAL RECORD NOISE - PLAYS FINE SOUNDS GREAT BUT NOT MINT UNPLAYED.

Message posted earlier today - I forgot to copy here !

thanks for your message. I trust the following will answer your questions.

History - I bought this within a year of release from a Set Sale dealer in Record Collector - before the days of eBay and the internet as we know it! ... Im a big fan and cannot remember the exact date but I bought it before the lab report 4/95 came out and whilst I knew it was very rare i didn't know it was so rare at that time!

Im sure you know it is not strictly speaking a bootleg as it is a standard release that was produced in a multi coloured vinyl by someone at the plant. I appreciate you may have reservations. The nature of eBay means that lots of effectively fake stuff is passed off as not so. I equally have never seen another one but if there are only three that makes sense; and it will not be crowding eBay for that reason.

My reason for selling is simple - I have just upgraded my hi-fi and need to cash in on some bits to pay for it.

I run my own label and I know how you can press something up and fob it off but this is not the case. I genuinely appreciate your concerns - I have been offered a lot more than the £225 but want to leave an auction as an auction.

Matrix details are as follows:-

DUHS(could be F looks like a backward 2?)D.01 A1 plus notation "16 BARS OF E"
DUHS(could be F looks like a backward 2?)D.01 B1 plus notation "ESTEREOLAB"

I hope this helps

Good luck

Phil

Additionally - please refer to grading - Record plays fine very exceptional crackle - ie VG/EX as described below:

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
