LITTLE FEAT Aurora Backseat LIVE '73 TAKRL LP no TMOQ

WebVinyl.Com Presents!
Little Feat
"Aurora Backseat" Kornyfone Private Live Underground LP! No Reserve!
Little Feat - "Aurora Backseat (No Head / No Backstage Pass) Live In Lost Angeles 1973" The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label TAKRL 1956. Super Hard to find Collector's Private press Live Album from peak period Little Feat featuring Lowell George, Paul Barrere, Kenny Gradney, Bill Payne, Sam Clayton and Richard Hayward. Many considered Little Feat to be THE greatest rock band at this time. The album notes just say "Recorded in late 1973 at the Santa Monica Civic". From the information that I can uncover, it appears that this may actually be from 3/20/1973 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium - Santa Monica, CA but there was also a show there 8/31/73... Not sure. Great stuff at any rate!

In super nice condition! The generic White sleeve with loose Yellow printed Insert is still in it's Original Shrink Wrap and easily Near Mint! Please note - any marks, streaks or blotches that you may see which are not mentioned in the write up (like those in the upper right corner of the cover) are scanner artifacts, not defects in the record cover... I will list any actual defects! The Vinyl itself is also great! There may be a light sleeve scuff or two if you really look close but in closet to New condition (may be unplayed?) and easily Near Mint! The labels are generic "World Records" (a TAKRL offshoot label) which, I believe, means this is a First Pressing (and on Virgin Vinyl). The labels are also in Near Mint condition!

Song List

  • 1. Eldorado Slim
  • 2. Got No Shadow / Wait Til The Shit Hits The Fan
  • 3. Cold Cold Cold / Dixie Chicken / Tripe Face Boogie
  • 4. Apolitical Blues
  • 5. Chevy '39

Records are graded to the best of my ability to Goldmine Visual standards. If you are not familiar with this grading system (or even if you think you are!), please check it out before bidding I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words:

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK.

Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

One other caveat... As most of you looking at this will know, some of these old Private, Fan, Underground LPs don't have the greatest recording fidelity or pressing quality. Of course, some are really nice. In any case, I assume that if you bid that you understand this. I am not responsible for any potential disappointments in sound quality. Even more than usual, these are graded strictly on a visual basis.

I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over eleven years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them. I guarantee that items I sell will meet my description, nothing more or less! If you are not satisfied that a purchase meets my description, I will do what I can to make it right if you give me the chance and work with me! Please feel free to check my feedback.

Buyer to pay through PayPal (or other methods by pre-arrangement). Buyer pays calculated shipping costs for 1 pound 8 ounces. Payment must be recieved within one week of close of auction or item may be relisted at my discretion. Overseas orders pay actual cost of Air shipping and must pay by PayPal (or other methods by pre-arrangement) in a timely manner. Please do not bid if you aren't going to follow through, it is not fair to me or the other bidders!

Thanks and happy bidding!
