Hank Williams Sterling 208 I Don't Care/My Love For You-Nice Copy!
I'm offering a copy of Hank Williams and his Drifting Cowboys, Sterling 208 "I Don't Care (If Tomorrow Never Comes)" and "My Love For You (Has Turned To Hate)." This is from one of Hank Williams' early sessions recorded at WSM Nashville for the small Sterling label on February 13, 1947. These are both Hank Williams compositions.

This record looks great and plays beautifully. I note some minor surface dimpling as occasionally occurs in shellac records, but I was able to get excellent sound with a 3.25 mil truncated elliptical stylus. I will be happy to provide a sample mp3 (of my raw transfer not subject to any noise reduction) to potential bidders. This record sounds virtually unplayed. The poor quality of the shellac used by many companies in the immediate postwar period lends some surface noise but it is not dominant and certainly not from needle wear.

I am not primarily a record dealer. I am a collector of 40 years' experience who appreciates and understands the logistics in shipping fragile shellac recordings. Therefore, you may be assured that the recording will be packed and shipped securely--i.e., taped between heavy cardboard and placed in a large enough box with sufficient padding all around. I take records very seriously and I will do my utmost to see that this record reaches you in the same condition that it leaves my care. It will be shipped fully insured.
