The Professionals - That's Why I Love You

This is an original 10", 45 R.P.M. acetate is a slightly different mix of the Professionals 'That's Why I Love You' on Groove City.

The vocal is mixed higher and more up front, and there is some bleed over of some backing vocals that were deleted from the intro on the released version on Groove City. The differences are subtle, but if you've heard the other version for years and are used to it, this one will sound a bit different. On a good

system (Technics 1200 w/ Shure N447 cart at 2.5 grams) it sounded a bit more present and punchy than the release version to myself and others. The vocal is definitely more up front and louder; I believe the end is a bit different as well. The MP3 I have recorded showed the light surface noise a lot louder than it was when being played in the room.

Acetate is in glossy VG/VG+ for light surface noise. There are three light marks from paper on the record which I have tried to show in one pic in the glare from my light. Labels are hand typed, and corrected in white-out is the typo "THAT'S WHY OI LOVE."
