Legendary & extremely rare (USA only) limited edition in thick gold-hinged & embossed wooden box containing ELEVEN (11) MFSL audiophile 180-gram virgin vinyl LPs, an exclusive 32-page book containing the full size original sleeve artwork [including the lenticular 3-D 'Satanic Majesties' cover] + Original (rejected by Decca) artwork poster intended for the "Beggars Banquet" Lp & a Geo-Disc cartridge alignment platter. The original master Rolling Stones tapes, from which the music in THE ROLLING STONES collection was transferred, were meticulously tracked-down by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in both England and America. Altogether, more than 60 boxes of recording tapes were examined and auditioned, until the genuine original masters were discovered.

The first three Lp's are from the original MONO masters:

The first three albums ("The Rolling Stones", "12x5", and "Out Of Our Heads") were originally recorded in the mono format, while the next six albums were recorded in true stereo. While "Hot Rocks" being a compilation of mono and stereo tracks that they "transferred from the original master tapes...carefully spliced together by MFSL's engineers.

MOBILE FIDELITY exclusively utilized the original (British) Decca master recording tapes, except for "12x5" and "Out Of Our Heads", which were originally recorded in America and first released by London Records.

For the first time, you will be able to really hear how The Rolling Stones ACTUALLY sounded in the studio and in "live" concert. The Rolling Stones collection utilizes MFSL's exclusive half-speed mastering music transference technology, the world's highest quality vinyl pressings and extraordinarily protective packaging. Because of these and other MFSL proprietary procedures, you will experience The Rolling Stones wieh imaging so real that you'll believe that they are performing live in your living room.

1. Original Master Recordings are exclusively transferred from the original stereo master tape that the musicians recorded in the studio (not from a second, third, or fourth generation copy of that master tape).

2. Each Original Master Recording employs Mobile Fidelity Sound lab's exclusive half-speed mastering process, thus capturing every nuance of sound from the master tape.

3. Quality, not quantity, is the overwhelming consideration in the creation of each Original Master Recording. The number of pressings is strictly controlled. These limited editions assure you that the quality of the last pressing matches the quality of the first.

4. Original Master recordings are custom pressed overseas by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC). Super Vinyl, an exclusive compound far superior to even so-called 100% virgin vinyl, is utilized to achieve maximum clarity and startling quietness....
