Another NICE survivor from 1955, Elvis Presley's 3rd SUN Records release, SUN 217, Baby Let's Play House. Shellac vinyl still retains some gloss, BOTH labels are in great condition except for a tiny chip at the center hole caused more than likely by it being dropped from a spindle rod on an old record changer/player.
Both sides play through great with no skips, pops or ticks. Would rate the playback, including the infamous SUN Hiss at at least an 8.9-9.1. Has dynamic sound. Be SURE and REMEMBER.... This is a 64 year old record that has been played. If you're looking for a NM to Mint copy of it, this AIN'T it. I've been selling SUN records for over 45+ years and am a pretty good judge of their condition and if anything I try to UNDER-GRADE them in my description.
This will make a FANTASTIC display as the 78's DO DISPLAY BETTER than it's 45 counterpart. And most collectors KNOW that there's probably only ONE 78 left around to every 50 of it's 45 counterparts. Making the 78 the more collectible than the 45 due to it being more RARE.
