Vinyl: VG- Mono Kenny Dorham Afro Cuban Blue Note 1535 Flat Edge DG RVG Ear Lexington
Great VG- Mono pressing of Kenny Dorham’s early masterpiece Afro-Cuban and one of the most collectible LPs in the Blue Note catalogue.
Apologies to those of you who placed bids on an earlier listing; I canceled it because I wanted to update some important information for the LP below.
Heavyweight vinyl with flat edge and deep groove labels with “767 Lexington Ave NYC” address on both sides. Plastylite “Ear” and RVG hand-etched into dead wax. Back cover reads “Blue Note Records, 767 Lexington Ave, New York 21.”
Cover : VG+. Cover retains nice original glossy finish with a little bit of wear to top seam and corners, especially lower left and lower right.Small stamp from previous owner on back. There is a bit of foxing to front and back but otherwise cover is remarkably good condition for its age and is structurally sound and clean all around. See photos for details.
LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve.
