Thanks for bidding! I don’t want to part with these but I need to start saving for college expenses. I’m finally selling my favorite and best parts of my record collection that was well over 3000 at one point. These came from NYC’s Bleeker Bob’s, Venus, St. Mark’s Sounds, and The Princeton Record Exchange for the most part. I haven’t had a turntable in years now and they deserve to be in active collections. The best of the best!
I’ll ship anywhere in the world at the buyer’s expense. Yes, I’ll combine auctions so you don’t have to pay for full shipping on multiple items. Just add $1 shipping to cover the extra weight of multiple records. Payment is expected by paypal within 5 days of the auction close. I’ll do my best to have your record(s) in the mail within 5 days of payment received. Good luck and please email me with any questions prior to bidding. Please see my other auctions too! A last note too, if you see something and want me to end it early, just send a note and we can work out a buy it now. Thanks.
Up for auction is an original press of The Misfits Beware EP 12”. This came from the wall at Bleeker Bob’s. It is rare to start out with. On the back of the cover, in marker, it has Bobby Steele written on it. Bobby Steele, who frequented Bob’s came in to look at it, said hey, “that isn’t my signature”, scribbled it out and signed it! He was (is) friends with John (played in Tuff Darts) who worked there and told the original story. Back in 2007, I corresponded with Bobby Steele and verified the story with him. The email from him “Yeah.. That’s me. Now that I see it. I do remember that story. That record changed RocknRoll – it’s f*cking amazing to be part of it – Bobby” is included. HOLY GRAIL PUNK!!!!
