About : Ultra Rare Original 1963 UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! If you like good music, bid now!!!
Classic UK Original Black & Gold “M T” Dick James side B ridge 1st Press labels!!! Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO real signs of age, NO stickers, and NO tears whatsoever!!! Just has a barely visible name to side A (black on black) and only a small amount of ultra light spindle marks which suggests that this hasn't had too much play over the years at all!!! AWESOME for a 54 year old record!!! Both must grade overall at least as Very Good+!!!

Spectacular Original 1963 UK 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks GREAT for it's age with NO nasty deep scratches whatsoever, and NO deep groove-breaking vicious scuffs whatsoever!!! The only blemishes are just a few light scuff marks, a few light hairlines and age marks here and there, and just some of the usual light wispy sleeve traces (only visible in direct angled light) from general use and where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! On a modern, thin LP, these marks would possibly hinder play, but because this is such an ultra thick quality 1st pressing, it plays fantastically well with no trouble AT ALL!!! AWESOME for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall at the least as Good++++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me!!!)

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds great with NO hops, hisses, sticks OR skips!!! Only (like pretty much all records) has a touch of low level static in places such as on the run in grooves and between some tracks, only a small amount of ultra light ticks on very rare occasions and just a hint of frequency static here and there on rare occasions (truly mild) and only a touch of mild "bluesman's fag" atmospheric crackle in few and far between places such as on some of the quieter sections and between tracks, but it really doesn't overshadow the music AT ALL!!! (it's much more soft and atmospheric rather than the sound of bacon frying!!!) I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! I tend to bring it down by listing every single flaw I noticed, but this remains a hugely enjoyable and clean sounding listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear with that bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from UK 1st Press vinyl!!! AWESOME for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall audiably at least as Very Good+++!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)
Original far-right Angus McBean credit UK 1st press 1963 Mono front laminated flipback "E.J Day" sleeve complete with original TRUE 1st “patent applied for" inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks BRILLIANT, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO excessively bad marks AT ALL, and still ultra strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has a few signs of usual ageing such as just a tiny amount of ultra light creases and a touch of a record imprint, some minor water staining to the bottom right edge only a faded name to the top right of the front, just some minor ageing to the still ultra clean unlaminated back such as a scuff line near the top and some minor scuffs and rubbing to the centre (absolutely NO ugly grubbiness at all), a touch of denting/rounding to the four corners which basically ALL vintage LP's have, and POSSIBLY (just to be sure!!!) one or two other minor signs of age here and there, though nothing that really stands out to note at all!!! And that's truly about it!!! I tend to bring it down by emphasizing the negatives, but this is a fantastic sleeve (the iconic front pic looks absolutely AWESOME!!!), and a TRUE rarity to find one as fantastic as this - most have been virtually destroyed or are just about being held together, but not this one!!! It remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and unspoilt, and even the spine remains ultra strong, solid, unsplit and 100% readable!!! Must grade overall at least as Very Good minus!!! (graded STRICTLY to the UK RRPG standards, not trashed or overgraded AT ALL!!! Customer satisfaction is of 100% importance to me)

I've realized that most countries have their own unique grading system. I base mine strictly on the UK RRPG grading system (occasionally with a + or a - to indicate the higher and lower ends of the grade, though I only use these if i'm having real trouble deciding!), so please check their chart for further clarity if you are unsure of what my grades mean. As a general rule, a mint record will be 100% perfect, an excellent record will be in fantastic clean condition with the occasional mild mark and minor use from the years, and a very good record will have noticeable, yet light visual markings and obvious signs of age and use, but will still remain clean with relatively light wear and will play fantastically well with plenty of life remaining in it. I very rarely offer records below the very good region unless they are of an EXCEPTIONAL rarity and playing quality...I hope this helps!
