Insane, totally freak-out and personal fave MONSTER ITALIAN LIBRARY recording by I PYRANAS band on RCA SP series. Dreamy studio orchestra mostly composed of french musicians active in Italy from 1967 to 1973 that accompained for a certain period Rocky Roberts, and led by french-Italian film music composer Albert Verrecchia with the great Andrè Ceccarelli on the drums. Mental, mindblowing session with some of the most killer Psychedelic Funk beats ever - solid Jazz and R&B arrangements with outstanding Blaxploitation Funk, evil Psychedelic riffs, heavy drum breaks to literally die for, uptempo pressed piano, and hot groove lava. Top notch stuff for DJs, beat makers and Soundtrack/Library collectors. Listen to the insane "ROMEO" with its crazy Psychedelic Hip Hop tune, with the open drum breaks and outstanding tempo variations and the super aggressive bassline. The totally freak-out "I WANNA SEE YOU ONCE MORE" with its explosive Jazz-Funk heavy pressed piano groove. The introspective intro of "JULIET" with its heavy drumming development and the lovely groovy beat of "THE PREACH OF THE HERMIT". "WHY DID YOU DIE" is easily one of the top vintage club groove and dancefloors burner with is mental, violent breaks and catching male vocals. Essential and VERY RARE GRAIL!
