Minimal experimental art rock Die Todliche Doris HEAR

Rare vinyl pressing of Die Todlichen Doris (Dead Doris) - 7 Todlichen Unfalle Im Haushalt (7 Deadly Household Accidents) 12" EP. The label is Zickzack out of Germany. I'd love to come across their first venture on vinyl. Supposedly 6 or 7 small records with a 20 second song on each one with not so good sound. It came with a small record player & a doll ? I'm not sure if i heard that right. Anyway, the label on the l.p. says 33 so I played it on 33. It was the darkest, most ominous thing I've ever heard on vinyl. The first cut on 33 was spoken word sounding like someone giving orders in German. There was a drumbeat every 5 seconds of 4 beats. It was also dark & gave the impression of an accused man being walked to his execution on the gallows. There was an ominous saxophone & what sounded like a deep ferry boat whistle which must have been a tuba. Although if I played it at 45 it may have been a sax. The whole affair was extremely disturbing. I had to share that with you. What it really sounds like at 45 r.p.m.'s is the way it's supposed to sound. Just follow the links below & you'll hear some cuts. I did just notice that there is a small round sticker on the front cover at the bottom that has 12" Maxi EP 45 upm on it. Odd the labels have Stereo 33 on them. The cover is VG+. It has ROSE in red ink on the front & back covers. I only listened to part of the first cut & I'd say an overall VG+. The vinyl is VISUALLY very glossy with some extremely light hairlines on it. I did hear some light background noise upon play.

"The fantastic and twisted first vinyl outing from these legendary "Geniale Dilettanten" and stalwarts of the most radical wing of the Neue Deutsche Welle."

Die Tödliche Doris (Deadly Doris) was a German performance art and music group based in Berlin from 1980 to 1987. It was founded by band members Wolfgang Müller (1957–) and Nikolaus Utermöhlen (1958–1996) and later joined by Chris Dreier, Dagmar Dimitroff, Tabea Blumenschein and Käthe Kruse (1958–).

Die Tödliche Doris was part of the Geniale Dilettanten (Ingenious Dilettantes) movement, a merger of the New Wave and post- punk scene, which combined influences like Frieder Butzmann, Einstürzende Neubauten and Malaria!. The head of the band, author, musician and artist Wolfgang Müller, wrote the book Geniale Dilettanten (Ingenious Dilettantes) for the MERVE publishing house. This was known for the first German publisher of French postmodern philosophers.

Rather than constructing an consistent identity, typically essential for pop music groups, Die Tödliche Doris challenged the notion of "convention" or "stereotype". Instead, they tried with each music piece and production not to follow a "style" or "image". Inspired by the post-structuralism of Baudrillard, Foucault, Guattarri and Lyotard Die Tödliche Doris want to deConstruct ![sic] a sculpture, made by sounds. This musical, amusical or non-musical invisible sculpture should become the body of Doris itself.

The first 12-inch LP of Die Tödliche Doris has no title, but is known as 7 deadly accidents in household.
