This is the deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Thelonious Monk “Genius of Modern Music, Volume 1” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1510. The beaded rim playing surface is in as-new condition, with a high luster, perhaps played once. The coated West 63rd St. cover (no frame) is also in near-new condition – clean and bright throughout.
