Disc Labels: NEAR MINT A superb pair with just two tiny spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole but none at all on 1. Visual: NEAR MINT Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine with just a few harmless inner-sleeve removal marks on side 2 visible in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more in the way of blemishes or wear, making this one extremely difficult to upgrade. Sound Quality: MINT Easily the best-sounding of their early stereo albums, this exceptional sounding copy has been played just one or twice at and all of the warmth and clarity of the recording shines through on every track. There is no trace of any groove/playwear, background interference or even a single tick or clicks anywhere. You will not find a better sounding copy of this exquisite pressing. Cover: EXCELLENT + A highly respectable example of this extremely fragile cover has been carefully stored in a clean, non-smoking environment all its life and retains an unscratched & unworn high-gloss laminate all round. The delicate front leaf is unscratched and completely unworn with just a single faint wrinkle towards the lower edge but no damage or wear to the delicate exposed edges themselves. The rear panel is as clean & glossy as the front with just a very faint disc impression but no other traces of wear. All corners are in great shape with no tears or heavy bumps.
The inside of the gatefold is totally unworn and is clean & black where it should be and is free from any writing or missing paper. The spine is clean & fully laminated with unspoilt wording and no splits or tears any either end. Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT Some light storage wrinkles but but no writing, tears or seam splits.
