This is an ORIGINAL 1961 VERY RARE release titled SCHOSTAKOVICH: Cello Sonata & SCHUBERT: "Arpeggione" Sonata // DANIEL SHAFRAN, cellist and LYDIA PECHERSKAYA, pianist . Released on the RCA VICTOR record label in LIVING STEREO LSC-2553 with the "shadow dog" deep groove red labels... AND 1S/5S Indy Stampers. The record was inspected under a bright halogen lamp and play graded for quality...awesome piece. No skips, no jumps, no major pops...very low background floor.
VINYL = NEAR MINT condition with very little signs of paper scuff marks or play, plenty of gloss and shine, clean labels free of writing and major spindle wear. Graded under a bright light for defects...this one is SUPER CLEAN !!
COVER = NEAR MINT and still in original shrink wrap, no seam splits, solid spine, no edge wear, no ring wear, no promo holes, only thing is the opening side corners have very light wear keeping the grade to a near mint and no mint.
PLAY GRADED = EXCELLENT with clean bold sounds and very low background sounds, a truly clean play. No major ticks or pops, no skips or jumps...an awesome listen for a very rare record.
