SIMON & GARFUNKEL RECOLLECTIONS ...USA - (Private Press) Contraband Records similar to TMOQ, Wizardo etc. REALLY RARE hardly ever seen old MONO private press of early 60's studio tracks that never appeared on any of the Columbia Records albums...The label decided that it would capitalize on the duo's newfound 45's chart fame by releasing this album, consisting of ten tracks recorded from the early 1960s while the duo still called themselves Tom and Jerry. This album remains very rare, the rarest of early Simon and Garfunkel albums...
CONDITION: The thick old 60's paste on front cover is clean, M- with no split seams, no bends, no writing ...printed back cover is M- clean ...you don't find this album this clean, IF AT ALL. The vinyl: The weight heavy old platter is visibly clear and clean M- but the nature of the pressing is lo-fi MONO, so don't go expecting audiophile sound works here...a sign of the sixties... keeper copy! A GREAT ADDITION TO ANYONE'S COLLECTIBLES!
