FIRSTLY THE MATRIXES ON THE RECORD, ARE THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS MATRIXES - ENDING IN A2/B2 (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!! SECONDLY THE LABELS ALSO HAVE THE CORRECT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT (LATER PRESSINGS HAD THIS CHANGED THIS TO 'EMI RECORDS' TEXT INSTEAD!)!!!! THIRDLY THE RECORD LABELS HAVE THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'SOLID LIGHT BLUE' TRIANGLE ON BOTH SIDES - WHICH WAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE COMMON 'TRANSPARENT' TRIANGLE (WHICH APPEARS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS!) AS THE TEXT WAS HARD TO READ (AND IT DIDNT MATCH THE COVER!)!!!! FOURTHLY THE STICKERS HAVE 'FASSON' & 'FASPRINT', BROWN LINES & 'CRACK BACK' ON THE REVERSE OF THE STICKERS (LATER ONES DONT!). FIFTHLY, THE INNER IS OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS TYPE - BEING BLACK, 'DIE-CUT', TEXTURED, 'POLY-LINED', AND HAVING 'SILVER' PATENTS PRINT ON ONE SIDE (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!! AND LASTLY THE COVER IS ALSO A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER TOO - BEING 'FLAT FACTORY SEALED' AT ONE END (LATER ONES ARENT - THEY ARE OPEN INSTEAD!) - WHERE ONE OPENING ON THE COVER WAS 'FLAT' & GLUED SHUT AT THE FACTORY BACK IN 1973!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS AMAZING LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!!
HOWEVER TO BE AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE ON THIS LP - THERE ARE A FEW STRANGE DETAILS I MUST MENTION!!!! AND BEFORE I GET ANY EMAILS - I KNOW FOR A 100% FACT, THAT THIS LP HAS BEEN TOGETHER SINCE 1973 WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED. SO HERE AT THE FEW STRANGE EXTRA DETAILS:-
1) The Stickers CLEARLY match and have been inside the cover from NEW. And they both have the CORRECT lighter front colours - which is expected on 1st Press stickers. They also have MATCHING Grey 'Fasson and Fasprint' text, brown lines, & 'crackback' printed on the reverse! So they were clearly made to be together! Yet mysteriously ONE has MUCH fainter grey text than the other one (even though the brown lines are exactly the same!) - and the other does not! Strange!
3) Although the cover still has the very VERY faintest hint of Blue, and is THICK and QUALITY - and definitely NOT a later cover, it is more black than blue. Though I stress again - this IS a 1st Press cover and definitely NOT jet black like all later pressings! And it also has definitely NOT been swopped. And it also has the EARLIEST 'thicker' type of factory 'flat' seal at one end - and NOT the thinner type of later covers! Still I thought it was best to clear here, that this cover is far less blue than others I have seen.
SO ALTHOUGH THIS LP IS IN UNDOUBTEDLY ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE (WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED!) - I THOUGHT IT IMPORTANT TO MENTION THESE DETAILS ABOVE!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in absolutely AWESOME condition visually - though as with ALL 1st Pressings, the playing grade is slightly less than the visuals!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is almost as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! But common to almost ALL 1st Pressings ever made - there is the odd static click (NOT from any marks!), and only some VERY slight background sound in places!!!! Importantly there are NO jumps on the track 'Money' (most do!) - with this track (and the rest of the LP!) playing through without ANY tracking issues AT ALL!!!! And because this record has BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL - the actual sound quality itself is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must visually grade MINT(Minus) - with the playing (as is normal on 1st Pressings!) slightly less than this, as detailed above!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Black, Textured, Die-Cut, Matt 'Silver Text' Poly-Lined inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition - with NO edge splits, NO repairs, NO centre hole splits, and NO writing!!!! THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 2 'SHINY' POSTERS AND 2 'FASPRINT' CRACKBACK STICKERS ARE IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HAVENT EVER LEFT THE COVER!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Gatefold Cover (with ULTRA RARE 'Flat' Factory Seal at 1 end!) is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, NO edge wear (apart from some almost INVISIBLE 'touching in' traces to 1 bottom edge!), NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL to the cover front (virtually NONE!), only very VERY slight rubbing to the cover back, NO writing impressions, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH 'SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE' - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS (I always undercharge on postage!):- Due to UK Royal Mail's obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little. Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002. However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever. However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100% guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out. Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself. On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package (please check it when you recieve it!). I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs! And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference. THAT IS MY 100% POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER! No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I'll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged. Any questions - please ask!
