About This Record. This is a copy of Led Zeppelin's very first slab of vinyl ever released in the USA, and in very very limited format. This is the MONO promotional only 7" 45rpm EP with cool black & white Picture Sleeve, featuring the LONG songs "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" (6:40) and "Dazed & Confused" (6:27). Two songs, but categorized by Atlantic Records as Atlantic EP 1019 because the songs are so long! This is the ONLY way to get these songs in mono in the USA except for the rare Test Pressing of Led Zep's first LP that came out in Mono. There was no mono promo LP released, just a stereo white label version and the cover-less test pressing. See my other Led Zep original LPs for sale.
Very Cool PS with no splits! But there is some small writing top left PS on one side. Please see my other Led Zep LPs that will soon be for sale.
PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.
I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and foreign buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase. Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).
Cover Condition: Excellent (EX) PS with No seam splits or spine splits of course, but a couple of noticeable wrinkles and, importantly, some some writing on one side of the PS top right (see photos). Most of these were trashed with DJ writing on the cover and split seams/spine.
Vinyl Condition: Side One/Side Two: EX+/VG Tough one to grade so here are the details:
Side One: Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You: Visual: Near Mint (NM). Audio: Excellent Plus (EX+).
Side Two: Dazed & Confused: Looks Excellent (EX) BUT BUT there are one or two short/small scratches that make 40 or so clicks at the beginning of this song. So, about 1/10th of the song plays with annoying concentric background clicks. No sticks or skips etc, just clicks from the two small scratches. The rest of the song plays fine.
Labels. Near Mint (NM) labels. Please see photos of all labels.
Inserts: Comes with new white plain paper inner sleeve so the dust does not reattach.
Packaging. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
Shipping and Payment. PayPal only. I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human.. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS: Please add sales tax!
