1963 UK 4th PRESS *STEREO* LP
**SUPERB EARLY COPY**
This rare & early '4th' STEREO UK pressing from 1963 is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3042
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' statement but include the 'Recording First Published..' text.
The rims around each label begin 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..'
Housed a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' cover with the large front stereo logo.
Complete with its original lined 'Use Emitex' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1

Just a few small spindle marks to both sides
Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS
Both sides are in pristine, unmarked MINT condition when viewed in strong direct daylight
There is no groove-whitening or dulling to either surface from improper long-term storage or mishandling.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few faint inner-sleeve removal marks on side 2, but no further wear.
Extremely thick & heavy vinyl which lies 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT PLUS
This disc has recieved just a few careful plays on good quality equipment and the sound throughout clear & clean in both channels.
All tracks play without any trace of background noise, crackle or groovewear distortion.
Apart from a single light tick in the band before 'Chains' & 'Please, Please Me', both run-ins and all bands play without interference.
There are of course no jumps, repeats or any other major faults anywhere.

A really outstanding clean & strong example bearing just the lightest touch of storagewear but no other significant signs of wear.
The front panel is clean & glossy. All corners are clean an unbumped and the easily damaged lower edge is in perfect condition with no flaking or missing laminate.
The rear panel is pristine clean & white with no discolouration, age-sports, stains, marks or writing.
All the delicate flipbacks, both seams, opening edges & the spine are all clean & undamaged.
