Is this information accurate?
Is this Item a Fake or Counterfeit?
This item has been relisted due to inability to agree a mutually satisfactory method of secure delivery into Eastern Europe.
I would like to take this opportunity to re-iterate that I act with honesty and integrity and would reassure any potential buyers that the situation leading to this relisting was one where the original buyer was asking me to undermine these values, as well as trying to force me to undertake unacceptable risks. I refused, and the buyer had their money returned.
Please respect not only me, the seller...but also that there are rules and regulations for delivery that are beyond my control.

I thank all the people who have viewed this auction, and to the bidders my very best wishes..

Thank You.

ULTRA RARE

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I (debut ) 1969 1st press / 1st issue (edition) [for full dead vinyl matrices see below] withdrawn Turquoise lettering cover vinyl LP - Atlantic 588171 with Superhype Music credit label error and album/catalogue number on spine identifiers.
  • Matrix / Runout (the last 1s are reversed): 588171 A//1 1 1 1
  • Matrix / Runout (the S might be a reversed 2): 588171 B//1 1 S 3

Notes : The label error* issue is the very first edition, as indicated by the matrix

1st Pressing identifiers : Turquoise Sleeve Lettering, Withdrawn
Atlantic Red And Plum Label With Publishing Credits error and Catalogue and title on the spine (see separate image).

*The label error: Side 1: label lists songs 1, 3, 4. as Superhype Music and 3. again as Jewel Music.

Condition (Very Important - I have endeavored to be totally honest in my appraisal) :
Cover - Good (see attached images) - Some minor laminate creasing to front of cover (towards the tail of airship/mast area) and some wear/staining to spine area of front and back cover (both these ailments can be clearly seen in my images). Some rubbing to cover extremities.
However, the album cover is complete, whole and retains its structural integrity, with only these cosmetic blemishes.
I have left the album in its inherited state, and have not attempted to clean any part of it.
Vinyl : Good/Very Good - Some surface lines are visible on the vinyl, with one very prominent one on "I cant quit you baby" and "How many times" (see separate image above). I have personally play tested this and although there is a not unpleasant audible analogue click, the album does NOT skip or jump.
There is also a small "bump" to edge of record (at the 4 o'clock position). This is small and cosmetic only, not effecting playback in any way.
This vinyl may have other surface cleaning/hair lines which do not materially effect play.

Overall : I can honestly say that out of all the albums I have played and play tested, this album has a rare quality, with, in my opinion, an amazing bright and punchy clarity of sound.

All vinyl will be sent in 12" record mailer with card stiffeners.
