Bob Destiny, an eccentric top American Jazz-man, has shortly lived in Algeria back in the late 60's where he taught music at the TNA (the Algerian National Theater). He was also involved, along with Mahboub Bati and Frank Pourcel, in organising the first Pan-African Festival in 1969, in Algiers - Algeria. The Mahna 45 is the 2nd in a series of five 45's recorded, pressed and distributed only in Algeria as a promotion of the Pan-african Festival. these records are virtually impossible to find.
