Comments: At this point in 1929, Edison began experimenting with electrical dubbing to cylinders from electrically recorded Diamond Discs. This is probably as close as Edison got to a truly electrically recorded cylinder. This copy is in top condition - the cylinder has no wear or defects, the box and lid look brand new, the plaster is still white and clean, and the lettering on the rim is bright and clear. I expect that this record may have come from one of the recently discovered new/old stocks from an original Edison dealer. It is a truly exceptional cylinder.
