BEATLES - White Album (1968)
SUPER RARE Decca contract export!
- Cat. numbers: P-PCS 7067 & P-PCS 7068.
- Both records are pressed with the black & yellow Parlophone labels.
- With Decca ridge running around the label, about 15mm from the edge.
- The sleeve is the correct fully laminated, top-opening 'Garrod & Lofthouse' cover, numbered on the front: No.0103815.
- Comes complete with foldout poster, 4 colour A4 portrait prints of the Beatles and black inner sleeves.
- Stereo recording
Condition:
Labels/ vinyl - Handling marks and radial scratches on all of the labels. Vinyl has obviously been played many times and can only be graded as 'Good' unfortunately. There are noticeable surface marks, light scratches and the occasional slightly deeper scratch. Audibly there is background noise on the quieter parts and the odd pop and click here and there.
Sleeve - Sleeve is also in Good condition. The laminate is fully intact (including over the raised 'The Beatles' wording on the front). Slight grubbying/ handling wear on the outside of the gatefold due to the items age, plus the odd minor crease and scuff - but no major faults. The spine laminate is worn but is still intact, save for a clean split all the way down the middle. The wording is also worn but still legible. The inside of the gatefold is pretty much clean & unworn.
Poster -The poster is in one piece but dirtied on the outside (see picture) and the folds are slightly dogeared and have worn through in most places. Apart from this, the actual poster folded out is in good condition.
Prints - Near mint.
Inner sleeves - very worn and unglued in parts.
An absolute must for any serious collector!
