I know what you're thinking: WE WANT DETAILS. Ok, here ya go:

FAQ's

Q: Is that a picture of you with Jack White?

A: Yes, and believe me when I tell you the only person who was happy in that picture was my husband (but that's b/c he gorged himself on Polish food the night before that picture was taken. Who wouldn't be happy?)

Q: What was Jack like?

A: Vacant.

Q: What was the crowd like at the grand opening?

A: Older. Like, pretty old.

Q: Why did you go?

A: I won a "contest."

Q: What is the store like:

A: It's optically stunning and they have for sale a lot of records. Unfortunately, most of them are not records that most people want to buy.

Q: What's the pressing plant like?

A: It's optically stunning with a mural designed and hand painted by Detroit artist Robert Sestok. To my ear, it seems as if Jack can no longer create compelling art (as we all heard last week) but he can afford to pay other people to create it for him. The mural alone is fantastic--well worth seeing if you are already visiting Shinola or hanging out in the neighborhood for example. Stop in and take a gander at the Third Man Pressing Plant. There are a lot of people hard at work pressing obscure records that only a small handful of people would ever want to own. If you are in the neighborhood it's worth seeing before it potentially goes away.

Q: Anything else?

A: YES! Jack White is fantastic live. I have seen him twice and also watched his free Warsaw concert last weekend which you might be able to find on YouTube. He's so good live, it almost made him, (a man who displays an elephant head at his store --a highly intelligent animal who likely met its demise at the wrong end of a shotgun--, along with other assorted taxidermy), bearable to listen to as he sings about the evils of dog ownership.

And speaking of seeing Jack live, don't miss my other auction for tickets to his HOUSTON concert! (I will be listing that shortly!!!). I got the tickets as a gift from my darling husband but after we listened to Boarding House Reach about seven times in a row, my family literally begged me to turn it off, and speaking of dogs, ours started crying. So as a result you get the CD too--just as a gift. :)))

Anyway, details:

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. No matter what it sells for, you get all this stuff. You will pay me on PAYPAL and once payment clears ALL OF THE ABOVE IS YOURS! WOW!!! One for you to keep and ONE FOR YOU TO LIST ON EBAY!!! YAAAAASSSSS!

Part of the proceeds of this auction will go to Hurricane Harvey Relief. Any further questions you can email to me. And by the way if you like to FLIP STUFF, this auction is definitely for you. ALMOST NO ONE HAS THIS STUFF and it gives me more pleasure than I can even articulate to make sure that the right flippers get their hands on this, and then sell it for as much as you possibly can.

Now, unrelated to the above, allow me to insert some words and their corresponding definitions:

TEACHER: One who instructs students, including the particularly inept.

STUDENT: One, including the particularly inept, who is schooled by the teacher.

DECIMATION: You just read it. ^

Can you hear ME now? Good.

Ok Ebayers, you're up. Ready, set, go! Happy Bidding! :))

On Apr-02-18 at 05:53:48 PDT, seller added the following information:

Definitions at the end of listing are not for the Ebayers! Ha ha ha. They are for those who due to delusions of grandeur, haven't quite figured out that when they've lost, it's time to stop digging a deeper hole. People who don't understand that end up experiencing an overwhelming force they can't recover from. Epic. :)

Also I have been asked about serial numbers on the back covers of the four White Stripes records. In case others are wondering, they are TMR042 and TMR032 respectively. Thanks
