Vinyl: THE ROLLING STONES, SELF TITLED 1964 FIRST PRESSING DECCA LP WITH 2.52 TELL ME.
**WITH SIDE 2 MATRIX XARL 6272-1 A PLAYS SHORTER 2. 52 VERSION OF TELL ME**
This shorter version of Tell Me is a different take and runs for 2 minutes and 52 seconds and can be easily identified by the side 2 matrix, XARL-6272-1 A, (see pic below) and was only on very first pressings of The Rolling Stones self titled UK debut album release, some say this was the Demo release version. Tell Me was very quickly replaced on all subsequent releases with a much longer version of the song lasting 4 minutes and 6 seconds.

Very First Matrix's and Stampers, XARL-6271-2 A & 1 K. Side 2, XARL-6272-1 A & 1 K.
The LP is of heavy quality vinyl and plays with a great sound quality through all tracks without skips, pops or clicks and with just very mild background crackle on the quieter tracks. an easy 7/10 for play quality . I have accurately timed Tell Me at 2 mins & 52 secs.
RECORD LABELS.
The record labels are in Excellent condition and show just a few plays signs on each .
VINYL SURFACES.
Both vinyl surfaces are free from deep scratches and scuffs and show just light surface hairlines and a few surface marks.
The Sleeve.
The sleeve has a glossy front laminated panel and is in overall Very Good Plus condition with light LP indentation on the front and some age spots and small stains on the back panel, there is a small removed sticker mark next to mono top right corner.
