I bought this record when I was 16 in 1971. I can remember this clearly.
It has languished in my collection since, and little played.
I’m no expert so willing to accept corrections. However looking into this it seems Mono records of this title are rare and this appears to be “First Cut”.
Side A has the Matrix number in the run off area ARL 9431.P-1A
Side B has ARL 9432.P-1A
My understanding is that this shows First Cut.
At 3 o’clock it is stamped with B. Using the Decca “Buckingham” code this also confirms it is First Cut. At 9 o’clock the Mother number is 1.
Under daylight conditions I cannot see any marks on the vinyl. From certain angles I can see slight spindle marks on the side 2 label.
The original inner sleeve is present with only a few creases, the outer sleeve I would describe as being in good condition with no writing on it. There are some light storage marks.
We need to remember this item is nearly half a century old and stored in my reasonable domestic environment.
I no longer have means of testing this.
I am only selling to make space in the cupboard.
I have put a modest start price on this.
Any further questions or corrections please message me.
Thanks for looking.
