Vinyl: RARE: The Beatles: The Collection, 1982 MINT Vinyl LP's Boxed Set Never Played

Note: These original Beatles LP's are MINT, VIRGIN, never-played, never removed from their sleeves. The sleeves and folders are also in mint condition. A very rare opportunity for the true Beatles collector and fan! I am listing them as used only because of their 1982 origin, but truthfully really they are still new as they have never been played. The LP's and covers are in pristine condition, the box is near-new and shows only a little wear from age.

This awesome boxed set of original Beatles albums was created by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab from the original Master taped recordings over 30 years ago and is popular among audiophiles. The Beatles: The Collection is a boxed set of all the original Beatles UK vinyl albums remastered at half speed from the original stereo master recordings, except for Magical Mystery Tour which was mastered from Capitol Records' submasters with the last three tracks in rechanneled stereo.

The Collection was released with much anticipation in early October 1982, was lauded by critics and Beatles fans worldwide for the superb sound, and sold-out completely within the first year. This box is from that initial release.

Each album was pressed on black vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan. The album covers were replaced with really cool photographs of the master reel tape boxes and log sheets. The original album covers and all liner notes were included in an art booklet which also featured a certificate of authenticity as this was a limited edition collection.

I am the original owner; the set was originally purchased new in 1982 when it was released, is in amazing condition, and has been continuously and lovingly stored in a temperature-controlled, smoke-free environment. According to the Certificate of Authenticity, inside the cover of the art booklet, the Limited Edition Number is 12,922.

Included are 14 vinyl LP albums, an original Geodisk for aligning the turntable tone arm and stylus, the art booklet showing the album covers and all album liner notes, along with the hand numbered certificate and blank warranty card, all contained within a hinged black box with gold lettering. Each vinyl album is individually wrapped in rice paper within its own folder which then slides into the individual album covers, a triple layer of protection.

Again, these vinyl LP albums are in MINT condition, never removed from their sleeves and never played. There are a few very small scuff marks on the box, but the box itself is in excellent, near-new condition.
