This is a copy of the Misfits legendary Horror Business ep, on clear yellow vinyl, 7", 45 rpm, PL1009 A/B, released on Plan9 Records in 1979. This is an original pressing, not a bootleg or repress, with the original insert included.
Excellent record, one of the standouts, and maybe my favorite Misfits 45, from my extensive collection of hardcore punk 45's that I acquired back in the day. Played only a few times, sounds great.
Tracks: Side A. Horror Business Side B. Teenagers From Mars, Children In Heat
The vinyl is in great shape: VG+, really near mint, looks flawless with no scratches, dings, or scuffs very shiny looking copies, and the record labels show no wear whatsoever. It definitely sounds flawless, with no extraneous noise or skipping. I have played it, so I can't call it mint, but it seems to have no sound quality issues at all.
The sleeve (a very thin paper sleeve), is in ok shape, but I hesitate to give it a grade; maybe good to fair. The right side is split, which seems to be very common with this particular release. Looking at the split, it seems very clean, with no ragged edges visible unless looking at it with a magnifying glass, almost like it may have been intentional, but I can't say if it was or not. To me, it doesn't make much sense that that side is completely split, while the opposite side is not. The bottom edge is starting to split, about an inch and a half in length, with the typical ragged edge seen with a seam split. The left side does show some typical wear, but has not started to split. There are some creases in the corners of the sleeve, and a couple very small tears/rips on the top of the sleeve.
The insert is in great, near perfect shape; it really couldn't be much better than it is.
All in all, a worthy addition to anyone's record collection, particularly if they are interested in anything from the Misfits.
