Is this information accurate?
Is this Item a Fake or Counterfeit?
Offered here is a Very Good copy of this exceedingly rare 1954 10" disc from Federal Records. It features the greatest hits, 8 in all, of the original Midnighters, who would eventually be renamed 'Hank Ballard and The Midnighters'. In fact, 'Henry' Ballard in the listed composer for several of the tracks.

Side One (FLP-93): 1) Work With Me Annie; 2) Moonrise; 3) Sexy Ways; and 4) Get It. Side Two (FLP-94): 1) Annie Had A Baby; 2) She's The One; 3) Annie's Aunt Fannie; and 4) Crazy Loving (Stay With Me).

CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Labels: Both sides fully intact; visible spindle marks, and light wear showing, especially on Side Two. Both labels centered. Label printing for Side Two is slightly off center.

Jacket: Split and taped on all three sides. Back side slick shows some age discoloration, and a name written in ink. Front side slick shows a couple of wear spots, and the tune order, which appears out of order on the jacket, is written in pencil alongside each track title. (Some might consider this to be Good Plus.)

Vinyl: Both sides flat and clean. Light scratching that doesn't affect play; no skips. Only pops are on 'She's The One', track 2, Side Two. Very light, but audible surface noise throughout. It's light enough to be truly audible only between tracks, though more audible if listened to through headphones. I've rated the condition here as VG, but I grade conservatively; some might think the vinyl is VG+, particularly for a record of this age.

Given the singularity of this piece, I welcome any inquiries or detailed questions; the auction length has been set accordingly.

UPDATE: 6/7. Based on a few inquiries, I will accept bids from prospective buyers from the European Union, and from Japan. However, based on the presumed value of the winning bid, I must insist on shipping via International Express Mail with insurance. This will protect both myself, as the seller, as well as the ultimate winner of the auction. Cheers!
