One of 4 Beatles records I picked up at a garage sale over 20 years ago.
The album cover is better than the record. The asking price is based upon the cover, not the record. Collectors of this record may have a decent disc tucked inside a worn cover. Here's a chance to get a good cover to match your disc.
THE COVER: VJ 1062(2)MC1B. This is an original version 2 from 1964, The back cover has the "Please, Please Me" with comma and front cover has a shadow to the right of George (See picture). Surprisingly, this album cover is in quite good "VG+" condition, maybe even VG++, There is no damage to the spine all the way round: you can read "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES VEE JAY" on the spine.
THE DISC: VJ 1062(2)MR2C. The disc inside, also a version 2, is in "G" condition: with surface scratches and scuffs on both sides. It plays all the way through on my record player with very little hiss but plenty of pops from all the surface scratches. It was cared for by its original owner, but it is an original version 2 with the VJ logo in brackets, and left justified titles.
Price has been reduced due to condition of disc.
