On Queen City Records
Northern Soul. R&B. Doo Wop. Deep Soul. Rare Soul.

Hard to find when released, and as hard or harder to find these day, The Del-Larks, on the Platinum-Silver & Blue color Queen City Records #4004,  an original US 45 RPM 7" single release, pressed and released in the 1960's,  titled : JOB OPENING PART 1 -c/w- JOB OPENING PART 2,  written by Sammy Campbell. In the dead/blank wax is written : 2004-A Bell Sound SOL and on the flip 2004-B Bell Sound SOL.
I got it in the late 60's, and it's been stored from that time on, and now ready for a new home.

A NOTE TO ALL INTERESTED VIEWERS AND BUYERS:
I've been receiving a number of requests to end the auction. I appreciate the serious interest. In fairness to all who would like to own this single,  I will continue the auction, to sell this single on-line, so you can all have an opportunity to bid. For the many who would like to remain anonymous,
I just converted this to a private auction, and I changed the initial bid amount to be reflective of the numerous e-mail offers received so everyone can have an opportunity to win it. There's still plenty of room to arrive at a great price.  I appreciate the e-mail on this exceptional single. Thanks.

CONDITION / GRADING:
The Single is in Near Mint Condition, bright, shiny, clean, no scratches, few slight light paper style surface marks. The Label is in Near Mint Condition.

Records may be graded visually, unless noted in the description.
The Gradings System is: Mint, Mint-, Near Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good.
I generally do not state Mint Condition on a record unless it meets certain high standard conditions.

A word about certain 1950's and 1960's pressing ingredients and some small label pressings:
Sometimes, pressings of small labels from the 50's and 60's and some instances, 70's pressings were made with not the greatest of ingredients,  and with these inferior ingredients causing some under the music groove sound - this generally happened with small label pressings, yet the music is clear, loud, and present. Also, at times, these smaller label pressings were pressed at cheapie pressing plants or at a big plant  but on the sly late at night without the quality control of the normal commissioned pressing,  There is also the possibility there may be low audible tape hiss, especially noticeable at the beginning of the record or in quiet passages, which is part of the recording/pressing.

(NOTE: If you notice the lashmi name on the image, it is just super-imposed over the on-line image, it is not on the actual label - thanks).
