FORMAT:  33 RPM, LP, 12"

RECORD CONDITION:  Still Sealed.  Vinyl is presumed Mint.  Original poly-lined red mono innersleeve.  Through the poly-lining you can see the UNBOXED DECCA logo above the pristine spindle hole in the middle with "LONG PLAYING" right below the logo with "FULL FREQUENCY RANGE RECORDING" below that --- To the left is the silver circled "33 1/3 RPM" surrounded by "LONG PLAYING" and a broken silver line border --- To the right is the "ffrr  & an ear".  Labels, Vinyl, Innersleeve are PRISTINE and have never been out of their protective cover!  The Matrix numbers cannot be seen through the cover, so you will have to open it if you want to know what they are!

 

COVER CONDITION:  Still sealed in original cellophane. >>>>>>>>After doing research on this album, I was horrified to discover that in order to determine which pressing this was, I would have to open it. :(   I like sealed albums!  So, I opened the tightly sealed album, but could only stand to open 8 inches of it --  just enough to slip a mylar (super thin) mirror attached to flat tongs inside the cover and discovered that this was indeed a treasured 1965 1st issue (I saw the ffrr ear first :) - then the unboxed Decca logo)!!!   So, it is definately a UK 1st issue and it is still sealed!  You can decide if it gets opened the rest of the way or not!!!<<<<<<<<<    Innersleeve and LP have never been out of the front laminated JAMES UPTON cover.  "299" written in Sharpie on top left front cellophane - no damage to cover.   Slight corner bump bottom left corner.    Ring wear is on cellophane only - not on laminate cover.  On bottom right corner, under cellophane ring wear, there is a light laminate crease.   There are no seam splits, no tears, no stickers.   Spine title is perfect and perfectly readable.  Cellophane has done its job well over the last 45 years and protected this very shiny laminated cover!   See photo.

 

NOTES:   1965 original UK vinyl 1st pressing, not a reissue, not a bootleg, not a 2nd or 3rd press.  Very hard to find record in NEW SEALED condition - with a known PRISTINE UNBOXED DECCA label inside.     So, this is a serious collectors choice.  Stunning condition throughout.  It would be impossible to find a better copy than this.  If you have been waiting to replace your file copy with the very best copy you can find.....here it is....SEALED  &  PRISTINE!!!
